i thought when i enter NIE my life wld be much better.
at least much better than comp eng life was
but i was wrong...

in fact it was much harder!
other than the fact the frens u haf now is all new
3/4 of them are mid careers
and i miss my frens, as in my galfrens whom i eat slack gossip chat complain with
darlings, i miss u!

guess i'm much older now
i can handle these stuffs well

BUTS....
workshop is tough
so many projects
metals, wood, plastics, electronics and each material i haf 4-6 diff projects each!
argh worst, i havent had the slightest idea of each tool

i still have maths to do
and its not lower sec maths
its all level maths + additional maths
its crazy really

still have educational psychology modulesss

We are taking baby steps into beautifying our future room together and yesterday we bought the shelves we have been eyeing for the past months from IKEA!! Thanks to my syg's uncle, we finally have a lorry that can carry an almost 2 metre long plank hehe.. No car can ever carry that length.

Oh to keep story short, we were fixing up the DIY shelving units. Me as always doing the macho stuff of putting paritions together, drilling and screwing the screws.. But little did i realise that I will SCREW UP something else hehe.. No, not the screwdriver but the storage boxes!! What may seems like an idiot proof (comes with schematic diagram) of fixing up the acrylic makes me feel an idiot and is the most challenging thing ever from IKEA haha..

We were thinking,,why so difficult to put in throught the slots and get the "click" as shown on the instructions? Hahaha..so i use some force and instead of a "click" there were "crack" and out fly a small portion (which dont affect the intergrity and strength of the box, alhamdulilah). Conclusion 1: oh maybe the "click" means that we need to break off this small portion to fit it..strange..hmmm but it works..

And so we move on the second box, fixing 1 side with the same methodology until the other side when my syg suddenly fix it with a "click" wah!! Eureka!! what was different?? I think we fix the 1st box the other side up!! hehe..fortunately it still works well..So we had 3.5 perfect boxes and 1.5 not-so-perfect but functional boxes.

This episode truly display how we complement each other.. Aku pun ader masa bodoh-nya. hehe.. Conclusion 2: and the most important of it all:- when 2 become 1, you can have anything in this world..oh well for this instant a brand new storage cabinet hehe.
